CanTeen National Bandana Day

Every year the CanTeen foundation runs Bandana Day, raising funds and awareness for the support of those living with cancer between the ages of 12 and 24. The bandanas, designed by Industrie Clothing, represent the hair loss often experienced by those undergoing chemotherapy and thus are a reminder of the physical and emotional strength that are often called upon and demonstrated by those diagnosed. They are also however signs of community, visually illustrating the support that people are willing to offer. Canteen

  1. Aaah I've read about this on a few blogs now, such a good cause. Just reading about it made me kind of emotional.
