Went to pick mushrooms in Belanglo State Forest
Rule of thumb, if it's red and pretty - don't touch it.
If it's brown and slimy, or flat, orange and covered in dirt and turns your hands
orange when you pick it up - then you've struck mushroom gold!
(I really liked the look of the little red ones which caught water in their
brim so that they looked like pots of cherry red lipgloss, the same as these shoes I
almost got when in America, my favourite colour!)
My favourite way to eat mushrooms: sliced, and cooked with salt and pepper and
lots and LOTS of butter
