Sculpture by the Sea (Bondi to Tamarama, Sydney, Australia)

Sculpture by the Sea: held in Sydney and Perth, and is Australia's largest annual outdoor sculpture exhibition.

Overall a wonderful exhibition, however with the main downside as always being an overload of art. Too many people trying to make social commentary/change the way you look at something/why can't I do this?/yes, yes I really did do that/oh wow. that's nice/oh how kitsch/what's next/I'm trying to pick up on the (insert global crisis) and how its effecting us close to home, all in a small proximity. It's a year's worth of art thinking in 1.5 km.

However, don't go about getting the wrong impression, it was overall a thoroughly enjoyable exhibition. Just make sure it is done on a full stomach and to even it out, after, I suggest a trip to the oldest and most fundamental art gallery you can find.
